Cake Decorating Team Building in San Mateo and Redwood City
We run cake decorating team building in San Mateo and Redwood City as on site events. Our instructor and assistant travel up the Peninsula from our San Francisco studio with the cakes, buttercream, and tools, set up in your conference room or cafe area, teach the class, and clean up afterward. Nobody on your team has to drive anywhere.
Our only physical studio is in San Francisco, and it hosts up to 30 guests. Everything on the mid Peninsula happens at your office or a venue you have booked. Here is what that looks like in practice.

What an On Site Class Looks Like on the Peninsula
We arrive ahead of your start time, lay out a station for each guest, and get the room ready before anyone walks in. The instructor demonstrates each step from the front while the assistant moves between tables. Guests decorate their own four inch round or heart shaped cake, or a floral dome cake, with buttercream and piping tools, and finish by boxing it up to take home.
The whole class runs about two hours. When we leave, the room looks the way it did before we arrived.
Timing an Event Between San Francisco and the Peninsula
The one variable worth planning around on this corridor is traffic. A mid morning or early afternoon start is easier for everyone than a slot that lands in commute hours, both for our arrival and for guests who are coming in from other offices. Tell us your preferred window and we will tell you what we can commit to.
It also helps to send parking or loading details and whether our team needs visitor badges. Buildings on the Peninsula vary a lot on this, and a five minute note in advance saves twenty minutes on the day.
Choosing a Format for Your Group
For a team of 20 to 30, the cake decorating class is the one people remember, because everyone finishes a complete cake. Cake painting suits a group that wants something calmer and shorter, about one and a half hours, with each guest painting a four inch cake using edible colors and palette knives. Cupcake decorating is the practical answer for a whole floor, since guests can take part in waves.
What Your Room Needs
Tables with working room for each guest, chairs for a seated class, and a sink or kitchen area nearby. A large conference room, an all hands space, or a cafeteria all work well. No cooking happens on site, so a full kitchen is not required.
What Is Included
Pre baked cakes or cupcakes, decorating tools and materials, American buttercream, custom frosting colors, custom edible logos, a professional instructor, assistant support, setup, cleanup, and individual take home boxes. Vegan, egg free, and gluten free options can be requested at least seven days before the event. Guests need no baking or decorating experience.
Branding the Event
Company colors, custom edible logos, themed decorations, names, or custom toppers can all be built into the class. If the event marks a launch or an anniversary, send your logo file and color codes when you book so we have time to prepare them.
Booking and Lead Time
Send an inquiry with your date, headcount, and address. Olesia confirms availability and package details, normally within 24 hours for corporate requests. A 50 percent deposit secures the date, and the final guest count and remaining payment are due seven days before the event. Pricing depends on the format, group size, and location, so each event is quoted individually.
